1430 Commonwealth Ave. Formerly the El Phoenix Room, completed structural renovation to create an open-space, two-level 1,400 square foot upscale restaurant/lounge in busy metro-Boston area location. Custom operable steel window system, custom stainless steel rails, furniture, and booths accent the open-air floor plan. Careful restoration of the Terrazo flooring, and installation of a full commercial kitchen (full lunch/dinner menu) in a small space were among the unique challenges of the project met by the team. Completed on Design/Build basis, allowing the Owner greater flexibility on aesthetic and functional detail as the project progressed, and enabling seamless integration of Owner supplied elements. |
